My cousin and I recently traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to attend Bourbon Classic 2020 put on by Bourbon Review magazine. It was three days of absolutely divine food and cocktails, both at the event and at various restaurants downtown. We even took in a distillery tour at Old Forester. A sampling of the weekend in photos are at the end of this post.
Our epicurean excursion made me think of the Southern Breeze magazine Summer 2009 issue I designed highlighting the Best Bars of the Gulf Coast, along with another feature titled Southern Brews covering beer festivals along the Gulf. It was an absolutely fun issue to design, and I enjoyed every minute of it!
